FAQs
We recommend flying into Telluride airport (TEX). From there, Ubers are readily accessible, and town is a short 10-minute drive.
If you prefer to fly into Montrose (MTJ), it is a scenic 65 mile drive to Telluride. Several transportation companies provide shuttle service between Montrose and Telluride.
Once you arrive, we recommend ground transportation, as a car is unnecessary in Telluride.

How do I get to Telluride?
Telluride is extremely walkable, with a free Gondola connecting Mountain Village and downtown Telluride. When needed, Ubers are easily accessible. Unless you plan on venturing outside of Telluride, a rental car is not necessary.

Telluride has many lodging options. You can find our recommendations on the Accommodations page. Room block information will be coming soon.
A note, though — ski trips, in our opinion, are best experienced together. We love the idea of friends renting homes: slow mornings in cozy cabins, hot tubs after a day on the mountain, and long dinners with the people you love most. We hope this weekend feels like the ski trip you’ve been meaning to plan.
We’re currently working on special rates for cabins and larger homes - details will be released shortly.

Where should I stay?
Please take the Gondola (accessible from either Mountain Village or Telluride) to San Sophia Station (the mid-mountain stop). For more information on the Telluride Gondola, please see details here.

Dress code is black-tie optional. We want you to wear what you feel best in, but if helpful, please find winter black-tie optional inspiration here.
Most importantly: Our ceremony will be outdoors - please dress warmly. We recommend a winter jacket and boots. Allred’s has cubbies available, and guests are welcome to change into heels for the reception.

While we adore your children, all events will be adults-only unless explicitly noted.
Please bring only the guests listed on your invitation.

Can I bring my children? A plus one?
Telluride sits at just over 10,000 feet. Most guests feel fine, though you may notice the altitude during physical activity. Staying well hydrated and taking it easy upon arrival can help.
If you have the flexibility, spending a night or two at a lower elevation—such as Denver—can make the transition more comfortable.
How can I prepare for the altitude?
We’re always happy to help.
